Poll: Keep release names?
The Board has recently been asked if there's value in continuing to have release names and if not, to stop naming releases. We're not sure how widespread the sentiment for removing the release names are so we're having a poll to see if there's widespread dislike or widespread love of release names. Note that the way we create release names may change in the future but there's no sense in us working on changing that if nobody likes creating them in the first place. Please answer the following questions if you're interested in the fate of release names.
